Pranassage with Zorayda (by appointment)

Pranassage is a bodywork/energy/massage blend experience that invites you to relax and let go while being taking care of. Pranassage can help to open up the flow of blocked energy, releasing stress and inviting a nourishing state of deep relaxation.

Drawn from her Occupational Therapy background, her trainings, and self-studies, Zorayda uses a blend of therapeutic handling, graded pressure-release, therapeutic touch, energy work, and massage during her one-on-one sessions. This blend improves alignment, restores and maintains the natural mobility of the joints, enhances the body’s energetic flow and leaves you feeling relaxed. Your role is to simply being a witness to the sensations that arise as you receive the effects of the treatment, closing your eyes (if you wish), breathing, and letting go.

Whether you are recovering from an illness or injury, or dealing with a stressful life event, or you want to unwind from a hectic lifestyle, or you are just in need of a break to bring more balance and wellbeing in your life, Pranassage with Zorayda is there to help. Sessions are done on a padded surface on the floor (Thai-massage-style) using cushions/supports as needed. Wearing relaxed clothing (but no shorts) and no jewelry is recommended. Shoes will be off.

Invest in your wellbeing ❤ Private Pranassage sessions can be held at Zorayda's office, at your home, at a private studio, or at a place of your choice. 90-minute sessions are preferable at $100 flat fee (no tip). At your request, a 60-minute session can be arranged for $80. Additional fees apply depending on increased length of sessions as well as choosing a different location than Zorayda's office in Wallingford, conveniently located near the center of town. Take time to attune to your body. Through the use of props, self-massage, breathing exercises, relaxation, and meditation, you will be encouraged to slow down and listen to your body. Poses are guided from the least challenging, to a slow-graded increase in the level of intensity, to get the most benefit from your yoga practice.

If you have been thinking about yoga but believe "I am not flexible enough to do yoga", THIS IS THE CLASS FOR YOU! Drawn from her Occupational Therapy background and her extensive yoga training, Zorayda Cocchi will guide you to use props, modifications and assists to get the best out of your practice, regardless of your perceived level of flexibility. Poses are built from the least challenging to a slow-graded optional increase in the level of intensity. Experience the multiple benefits of yoga in a supportive environment. Awaken your body's inner intelligence. Discover what works for you through the experience of developmental movement, individual alignment, breath awareness, stillness, gravity, body scanning, differentiation, and non-judgmental self-awareness. Learn to listen to your body. Open mind set required… body flexibility optional!

Enjoy the benefits of breathing awareness, graded yoga poses, and guided relaxation. Learn to listen to your own body as it guides you to develop the yoga practice that is right for you. Emphasis will be on feeling the poses, connecting to your breath and your body, and letting go off an ‘ideal’ of how each pose is supposed to look like.

Private Yoga with Zorayda provides quality, personalized yoga practice to suit your individual body shape, physical condition, needs and goals. Whether it is to ease or recover from an illness or injury, to become more flexible-agile-stronger, to unwind from a hectic lifestyle, to overcome a stressful life event, or you are just in need of more balance and wellbeing in your life, private yoga with Zorayda is there to help.

During your Private Yoga session, enjoy Zorayda’s undivided attention while she provides expert instruction tailored to your unique body, doing the poses safely, working on what you want, and practicing at a pace that is exactly right for you. Get ready for one-on-one attention to your alignment, optional hands-on assists, meditation and guided relaxation.

Private yoga sessions can be held at your home, at Zorayda's office, at a private studio, or at a place of your choice.
